interior ac condensation?

I was driving my 2000 4runner this morning when i felt cool water dripping on my ankle.

I pulled over and checked it out and noticed all of my ac equipment (ducting,etc) on the interior was dripping wet. I have owned this car for about a year, but this is the first time i have noticed this.

Anything i should check out? I'm worried about it dripping in the carpet and starting to mildew.

I can't say I have noticed this but I will say the AC in my 4Runner is by far the best AC I have ever used in a vehicle. No problem keeping the interior nice and cold on a 104F day with the fan switch halfway. My 4Runner is black in color making it even harder to cool. With an AC system working this well it would not surprise me if condensation would form on the duct works. Especially if its humid. It may not actually be enough to really worry about and most of the moisture likely evaporates before it has a chance to drip. Maybe placing some towels on the carpet and checking to see just how wet the carpet actually gets?

Might be a little low on freon, you may want to check it out.

I have a feeling the condensation drain tube on the pass. side might be clogged up..... when you have the AC on are you still dripping water like it should?
