Interior Color Combinations (Picture Request)

One thing that I have noticed in my quest for the perfect '10 T4R is that each of the Toyota regions has a little bit of variance on the interior colors, especially on the SR5 trim level (and even more so on the Tan/Sand/Beige color). I live on the border of the Cincinnati / Gulf States Regions and most of what i have seen is Black Leather, Graphite Cloth, and Sand Beige Leather. I have located an SR5 with Stone interior but I have not seen pictures of the Stone interior due to most of the dealers using stock photos. I have even looked through many of the threads here with no luck. I am currently negotiating a deal that will involve a dealer transfer from another dealer and it is a SR5 in Classic Silver / Stone leather. Can anyone post pictures of this color combo, or at least the Stone Leather in the SR5 trim? I am most interested in the color of the carpet... is it Grey as well or darker (Graphite?)

I think you are seeing the differences on the SR5 because of aftermarket leather installs, not factory. The limited comes with 2 leather choices standard. SR5 is cloth or the leather package of black or tan. I have a feeling some dealers are having the cloth changed for leather at a local shop. They may be having it done with cheaper leather or stuff the shops have leftover with, just a thought.

What Toyota Region are you in? I have a copy of the Vehicle Inquiry Report (Invoice) and it says 01F7 Classic Silver exterior and LF13 Ash/Dark Charcoal/Graphite interior... This truck is in the Gulf States Region but the dealer's website (that has the truck) just says 'Stone' interior and the photos are the stock photos showing the black T4R with black fabric seats. I have seen Stone on a Sienna Minivan and EVERYTHING dash/console/seats/carpet is a light Grey color. Since the SR5's I have seen have the Black/Grey/Silver Metallic Trim dash, my hope is that it has the lighter Grey seats but keeps a darker carpet to hide stains. The factory option list includes 'leather trimmed seats' so I am asumming this is factory not aftermarket? The odd color combos I have seen are the Beige upper / Charcoal lower especially when the fabric seats are black looking on a tan interior...

Oh by the way, my salesperson says the dealer they are trying to get it from will not walk outside and snap a few pictures of it for me!

I believe what may be happening is the use of different regional terminology to describe the same interior colors. A quick search of of a few "Build Your Toyota" web sites between regions yielded different color descriptions for what is apparently the same interior. Using different zip codes with the Toyota USA web site yields the same color combinations nation wide.

I would suggest that you specifically ask the dealership you are dealing with to physically describe the color of the interior of the vehicle you're interested in in simple terms (black, grey, tan, etc.). If they are reluctant to send you a picture, I would attach a stock photo to an e-mail and ask the dealer if 'this is the color of the interior' you're considering. At any rate, using the Toyota resources, the carpet color for all 4Runner interiors that I have found has been black.

This is the color you will be getting. LF13 is the code for the black leather in the SR5.

My SR5 has the same coding and its silver with premium package black leather.

I thiink I have a better understanding of you question, maybe. On the SR5 the top of the dash area is always black, however the bottom part of the dash (glove box down) will be silver/grey if you get the cloth seats or the black leather from the factory. If you get the TAN leather that grey on the dash then becomes tan to match the seat. Also, on the SR5 the leather like material on the doors will be silver/grey with the cloth seats or black leather, but is you get the tan leather that leather like material will be tan to match the seats.

The carpet in all cases on the SR5 is black.

Now on the Limited the dash is totally black, same with the doors, no matter what leather package you get.

Thanks to everyone who responded. I went today and put down a deposit and negotiated in some running boards for when it gets here.

I was confused a little about the colors because I sat in a Magnetic Grey SR5 4x4 3rd row that I tried to purchase the other day and unless I am absolutely crazy it had solid black interior with no Ash/Stone/Grey inserts or console. I even called a buddy of mine who was with me and he said it was 'all black.' Maybe we are both crazy?

I guess my wife will be happy with whatever color it has when it gets here...
