Interior LEDs too bright. Any suggestions?

2015 LE. Just replaced all interior lights with 6000k LEDs fro JDM-Astar. They look great, but some of the 194 size lights are too bright. There's no marking for lumens in description on Amazon or the package so can't compare them to anything.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a 6000k LED that isn't that bright? Would like to use them for my license plate lights and vanity mirror lights, both of which don't require much lighting at all.

(And I'll need to get brighter 194's for my puddle lights. The ones I have are not bright enough for lighting the area OUTSIDE the vehicle)

They have some super bright, and some extremely bright. The extremely bright were too bright for my front dome and vanity lights, so I got the others. Perfect level of light, but they are starting to fail.

The sylvanias were a yuuuge disappointment to me, not very bright.

Yep, those work great in the puddle lights. I'll try to snag a pic in the dark, but they light up the area next to the door quite well.

I used these in the back hatch and dome light, and they do a great job also:

The biggest improvement in LED lighting probably comes from the reverse lights. My previous F-150 used the same bulb type and I just bought the same ones for my 4Runner since they worked so well:

I have been a guinea pig for many LED light set's, everything from JDM-Astar's, Morimoto, Yitamotor, SiriusLED and the only interior LED's that have lasted longer than 6 months without multiples failing or flickering were the Philips Vision's. They are brighter than stock but not by multitudes like the JDM-Astar's and may be just what you are looking for. They are comparatively expensive but they will actually work long term and have a 12year warranty from a real company that will actually be around that long. I suggest the following 194/T10 bulbs based on the level of brightness that you want, you can see side by side comparisons on page 2 of the link below as well:

Philips Vision 40 lumens
Philips Xtreme Vision 50 lumens
XenonDepot Xtreme 60 lumens

phillips are the best for longevity and reliability. Not as bright as the other brands but I am fine with not blasting my eyes with white light inside the cab. Don't buy yitamotor!

Obviously i'm biased towards our Xtreme T10 LED bulbs -- but the review in your link is unbiased.

I'll also add that our bulbs are "Warmer" in color compared to Philips, and they are made out of ceramic (not plastic like Philips).

NP, I think I am going to grab a few of your 194 XD's for my Forester here soon. Do you guys have any plans to make a 31mm festoon version as the Philips festoons do not put out alot of light?

Sweet, those should sell very well around here. Are the specs going to be similar to the 194 XD's? Congrats on the TRD Pro purchase BTW.

The kelvin will be the same as the T10, however we will be using LumiLED emitters in the festoons -- the Xtreme T10 LED use CREE.

Hope you make them pretty bright. The existing festoon solution out there are mediocre at best. I have arrays with a spring loaded festoon adapter and they are underwhelming.
