Interior Lighting Converted to LED (Many PICS)

what did you use for the plate lamps, and did you do the lighted running boards? That interior looks good.

Yeah they dim on and off just like stock, looks pretty cool.

I had to do some experimenting with the different bulbs. There is definite difference between the many options. Some are too bright and some too dim for the different locations. I get compliments on the running board lights all of the time as they are pretty easy to see the difference from FAR away

That's awesome, don't stop there. Upgrade all your lighting to LED, trust me it's worth it.

That's correct, it's very easy took a total of about 3 minutes.

Fo-Sheezy - I replaced the rear lic. plate with LED's. I used SUPER WHITE but I think they're too bright. I think they had 5 small LED's on the 1 bulb.

I just ordered single LED's to see if that helps. What color did you use? I noticed they are nice and white and dont have any blue tint(which i hate)

I just ordered myself some LEDs for the interior and plates.

I ordered 3 sets of the same 194's that the OP used for the plate and doors and then I ordered this set of 194's for the map lights because I think they will be brighter.

If they are too bright I'll send them back and get another set of the others and probably get my glovebox and vanity light at the same time.

I found a 15% off coupon so shipping is basically free.

I also ordered the 5"x1.5" thin LEDs from Oz. I like how that fills out the housing better than all the other options.

I don't think the physical light fixture has changed at all over the years. The lights are bigger than 5 x 1.5, but usable space to mount the lights is about 5.5 x 1.75, IIRC.

As for the bulbs 3175's are only 31mm long. The LEDs are flat panels that come with adapters that will fit a variety of sockets.

I really do NOT want to pay $50 for (2) dome lights from Oznium.

What would you suggest as an alternative from V-LED?

BTW, I just purchased the entire V-LED kit you installed., so what dome lights would match these. My kit reflects the HID White.
