Wondering if anybody has had this happen to them, or has a suggestion as to the solution/problem....
So I've noticed that randomly I lose my brakes, like pedal to the floor loss. Thankfully it hasn't happened when the runner has been moving. It's only happened when I've come to a stop. I'll be sitting there and all of a sudden it'll start rolling. I try to depress the pedal and it'll literally go as far as it can, I lift my foot off and depress again and the pedal is back. Problem is that I can't make it happen, like I can't say "ok, if I hold it here it's going to malfunction again." The fluid level is within tolerance in the reservoir. With the exception of this issue, the brakes feel great. Much better than in my 22RE. I've been told this system were not as beefy as in the 3.0 which my runner is. Another piece of info is that I've only noticed this happen when I've been stopped on an incline. Now, I'm not sure if this has happened on the flat and I haven't noticed it b/c the runner isn't rolling back into somebody's grill. I did also notice this on a decline, but only once.
I know from reading in other posts if the pedal goes down slowly while depressing (which it does a bit, but not all the way down, or at least I haven't sat that long) then that's a symptom of the master cylinder. Makes sense, but if this is the case, then why would it only be happening at random times for me. If it's the master cylinder, I'd have to guess that it would fail more consistently.
