Intro to cutting and welding steel day – Saturday November 19 2016

A big thumbs up for Chris. Thanks for the hospitality and fixing my cross member, skid, and tank skid. Can wait to see how your bumper turns out.

Yea it turned into more of a wrenching/fix it day than a teaching day but it's all good. At least everyone got to take a few minutes to play with the welder.

We were able to get the cross member back to a reasonable position. The FM now works again with a shiny new antenna. Thanks to my wife for bringing us food from The Cheesecake Factory. It was so good probably because we had been working all day and hadn't eaten much.

And a great bonus was to look in the cooler later that night and go thru the nice assortment of premium beers :first:

It turned out pretty great. Too bad you couldn’t make it.

The Ivan Stuart Off Road expedition taught us all more about off-roading. The Victoria Secret model show was quite fascinating. I thought it was nice of Bill Gates to stop by and offer advice on how to build a business from scratch. It was cool of him to give each of us our own new XBOX system to try out.

Maybe you can make it to the next one and get in one the fun.

Saturday I was talking about a new drone that folds into the size of a water bottle but is very advanced and can track you with 4K video. It has a built in gimbal. I found it.

I figured you were talking about that one. Their new Phantom 4 Pro and Inspire 2 has tracking also. My Inspire 1 doesn't
