Invading hostile territory - Jeeptoberfest

Staying at a Hampton Inn in Ocala, FL for a weekend of off road driving for an unrelated event. The parking lot was 99% Jeeps attending Jeeptoberfest 2019. Got a few sideways looks as I was pulling in last night.

My 5th gen with a 2.5” lift, Wildpeak AT3W tires, rock sliders, winch and metal bumper looks positively stock in comparison.

Funny thing is I have more mud on me than any Jeep in the lot.

Good photo. I went with a group of Jeeps last April on a snow run. Good group of guys, they did not mind the outsider. They were all running 35's and 37's and were OK giving the little guy a tug a few times.

Welcome to town!! I took my son to the jeep event yesterday for a few hours. Probably had between 400-600 jeeps. Had a nice time.

I was joking about the hostile territory. Definitely good guys driving Jeeps at the hotel in Ocala. I just think they were wondering why I was going to a Jeep event with a Toyota at first.
