This is just the CPU:

iPhone 6s ---- iPhone 6 ---- Galaxy S6 Edge+

The GPU is apparently even more powerful than ever before...YIKES!

And looking at the basic Retina MacBook’s Geekbench scores (1.1GHz dual-core Intel Core M CPU), you’d find 2295 for the 64-bit single core test, and 4464 multi-core test.

The iPad PRO that is coming out has an even more powerful chip, A9X. So, when Apple states that these A9 chips are DESKTOP-powerful, they are not kidding!

Android phones in comparison: (my 2 yrs old iPhone 5s scores = 1360 single, 2430 multi)

Loving mine so far. :D

Coming from a 5S it was a nice upgrade. The speed of the new touch id is certainly welcome too.

Each new Iphone release is just a way to get your hard earned money.

I still roll with a flip phone. Use a phone as it's supposed to be used.

I don't need to carry around a computer in my pocket. I am man and can survive without it.

Ignorance is bliss....

And if you base your "manhood" simply because you have a flip phone, then yeah...OK dude, good for ya!

If your profession required the use of one you would.

I upgraded from a iPhone 4 (non S) that I've had for like 5 years to a current 6S. Talk about bridging the technology gap lol

Mine was supposed to be at my house on Friday...have to wait till Tuesday now. I previously had a Note 2 and now have a Galaxy Core, I am sure it will be a nice upgrade to both.

I got mine on Friday and I really like it, except the battery is noticeable smaller. As for performance it's great, the finger print detection is way faster and the camera is finally good.

Mophie is coming out with their thinnest case yet for the iPhone 6. If you need a little extra juice.

Mine will show up tomorrow. The only reason I'm getting it is because it supports LTE band 12 that T-Mobile has been deploying. I love T-Mobile as a concept, but outside of the city, and in buildings, their service sketchy at best.

Apparently, I'm not a man. I need my phone to get things done during the day... :biggrin1::biggrin1:

Lol, funny you say that, I actually work for mophie and the new juice pack reserve case is amazing.

Apparently I'm not a man either, I need the newest phones to do my job.

Ha! Well help a fellow 4Runner Bro out and hurry up with that case!

None of you are men, real men carry pagers.....:drum:

Are you guys talking about the new bigger iPhone?
Some how I set up unlimited LTE for $10 a month so I'm thinking of getting the bigger one so I can use more of that data, I gotta get my $10 worth.

Well, I have a pager too, so I guess I'm gender-confused.

You sir are robbin' the bank with $10 unlimited LTE. Well played!

Those of you guys with the 6S...congrats...the chip in it is quite a feat! I think that Apple designing their own chip and software that goes with it is what separates them from everyone else. Apple went from a nobody in chip design to top dog within 2 years. That is simply amazing.

Everyone's situational awareness sucks these days. They are constantly updated their location, facecrook, twitter, apps, games, etc. My guys at work aren't allowed on their phones unless it's break time, lunch or they've let me know wife is pregnant, emergency situation, etc.

The time wasted on these devices by employees is nuts.

I've sold the street bike due to everyone that is texting, surfing, etc on these smart phones while driving their car. I work outside, on local roads fixing power lines. These phones along with inconsiderate drivers scare me more that 13,800 volts in your hand.

You walk in somewhere, USA. Everyone doesn't even look up and see who walks in. No face to face communication anymore. The amount of couples I see who sit in a booth at a restaurant and don't say a word to each other cause their using these devices is countless now. Get a grip.

To each his own. But life isn't about this device that's in your hand. It's what you can see, smell, taste, who you can talk to. Being considerate, especially to other drivers on the road and having situational awareness.

And how manly is it seeing a guy point his finger at a little screen?

So, before these little electronic devices came out of the heavens, motorcycles were not "organ donors on wheels"???

Car accidents did not exist either?

You think that stupid folks had no distractions before the smartphone invention?

I agree somewhat with what you said...but weren't there plenty of accidents of people answering their FLIP phones by have to pull it out of their pants/holster and flipping the clamshell??? And you had to do this because bluetooth was still in infancy.

The problem i have with your statement(s) is that it is equally ignorant by you making a blanket statement about everyone that owns a smartphone.

Smart phones are tied to at least 25% of accidents.
Do you have a motorcycle? If so I know you're scared of texters and drivers. I know for a fact that you've been behind someone in a car, or beside that has upset you due to their smart phone.

All I'm saying is "it's becoming a problem". Also if you own a business or are a boss tied to deadlines and your employees are on it you will become frustrated.

Their are some that don't even look at a smart phone or flip while driving. Some... Small percentage. Do you?

I have my flip because of my children, that's it. On Friday night I put it away and normally don't carry it or look at it until Sunday night.

I have a computer at home, and at work. I just don't see needing one in my pocket at all times or while I'm waiting at the doctor, in line, movie theater, etc..

This has become the immediate gratification society. If they have to look at a map or wait for an answer they become frustrated. It is a problem.

You never see children outside playing anymore. They are behind electronic devices in their homes. But, so are their parents.

When I was growing up. Restriction was not being allowed outside. Today's restriction not being allowed inside.

Thai, I'm just venting brother. I do love my 2003 4Runner though, and your new smart device, lol.
