I have the Limited with Nav. Voice control worked great with iPhone 3.xx OS. Now that I've upgrade, it'll start the call and terminate. Anybody else experience the problem? Possible fix?

I've tried removing and re-discovering into Bluetooth.

Ill be upgrading my 3 GS to 4.0 OS later today after I get back home, so will test it out tonight or tomorrow.

I'm running ios4.0 on my 3gs and havent had a problem with bluetooth. I've made atleast one call that i specifically remember on bluetooth and possibly one other. All was fine. I remember it was a long call too because it was my boss on the other line :bash:

Same thing happened to my friend. He keeps his older backup iPhone because of issues like these.

Never, ever, ever update your software the first couple days of the release, and never, ever, ever buy new hardware in the first few months of the release...

there are always tweaks... I am still on software version 3.1.2 lol

but I havent felt like rejailbreaking and restoring all my jailbreak settings etc.

plus, I heard that one of my friends updated to 4.0 and everything in itunes got wiped out. luckily, he had an external hard drive with everything on it.

yea there is no reason that the release of 4.0 should erase your contacts. For such a large firmware release like this, im baffled at how things this major slip through.

I also had to install a custom APN because after my update, 3G didnt work data wise AT ALL. i could get calls and texts but no maps and no safari. HOW DO YOU F THAT UP???

VERY VERY true, especially in regards to Apple hardware. It sucks to be a "first mover" because less than six months they will release a pretty significant upgrade, which generally angers a lot of people.

I'm usually fascinated by some of new Apple goodies, but I know to wait.
