iPod interface for Nav 4 Sale

Folks, I have a VAIS AIC-100i unit for sale. This was installed in my 04 T4R w/ Nav and worked perfectly. I just traded my T4R for an FJ and was able to amputate the vais unit b4 the trade.

I'm selling the AIC-100i, and custom T4R ipod holder that works great, no damage to dash on install, and a set of wireless Toyota head phones for rear seat audio and a ground loop isolator which you will definitely NEED!

The AIC-100i was updated by VAIS to support the 5G video iPod.

I'm asking $200 for all 3 items, buyer pays shipping too.

Here are 2 pics of the install, head phones not shown

ALSO, I had VAIS flash the rom on my aic for support of the video ipod 5g and I suspect that some of the new features on the SLI can be added to the AIC via OS upgrade. I work a few miles from them and found there support top notch. I have not had any of the issues cited with the SLI except the occasional need to unplug replug. (rare)

Not sure if the SLI supports simple mode which allows selection of songs from the ipod while still getting steering wheel controls. I opted for simple mode in that using the nav for selection was kluge. I found it much nicer to position the ipod within view and selecting playlists from it and paddling thru songs with steering wheel controls. That way I could see on the ipod what's playing with album art and not have to mess with the nav screen and the final setup looked way cool.

Finally, the sound of vais units are great so long as you add ground loop isolation. This was a sweet setup
