iPod Integration via Dice Electronics (Coming Soon)

Noobie to the forum here, but happily so with recently acquired 2006 Ltd.

In trying to figure out my options with fully integrating (steering wheel control + text readout) my JBL 6 disc changer with my mini iPod, I came across another option I haven't seen mentioned (new product) yet in this forum (for stock HUs):

Not available for Toyota yet ("...shipping kits for Acura, Audi, BMW, Honda, Mazda and Volkswagen. Coming soon is Toyota and GM!"). Looks like there will be some sort of video capability (via separate cradle) with the new video iPods as well.

$160 and I think it's going to do everything the Denison Ice Link Plus will do? In fact, I found this through Denison's website (they're a distributor of the Dice products).

I'll have to look at the other forums and see if they report problems similar to the ones here for the Denison.

I think you're on the right page, but Toyota integration isn't available yet from what's said on their site.

I was able to add it to my basket, and proceed to checkout. I think it is available now, and elsewhere on the site where it says "Coming soon for Toyota, etc, etc" is outdated. Pretty sure it is available now.

It looks pretty sweet.

If anyone has used it, I have a question regarding the disk 3 mode (per the owners manual online). It looks like you can change the album playing. So ... does this mean you can directly access an individual album (and its tracks) in the iPod without going through playlists???

If it does this would be huge.
