just got a 2003 V6 limited 4runner this year and looking to install ipod interface with aux jacks for dvd player or XM radio. Any recommendations?

Also looking for bull guard...ss or black. Which one to buy?

What color is your 4Runner? SS in general would be better because it's less likely to rust, but you don't like chrome, then SS might not be for you. But black does look good for most 4Runners since it would compliment the running boards and roof rack, unless you have a 4th gen with silver running boards and roof rack or a 2006+ Sport Edition.

I just bought this for my 4Runner and connected it to a Scion 1808. I installed both at the same time. But the install was easy and straight-forward. It plugs in directly to the AUX port in the back of the radio. The harness even has a provision for a factory CD changer, if you have one.

I can control my iPhone directly from my radio. And I use the AUX input to plug in my XM Roady2. Sounds great, too!

I have some pics of the interface with the iPod connected. I'll post them as soon as I find them.

IPOD

Great thanks guys for the tips. My 4r is titanium..and i think the chrome will probably be better than the black.

Where do you think would be the best place to install the IPOD connector? In the glove box in front of the passenger or in the box in the center console beside the 115ac volt jack?

Somebody mentioned that they installed theirs up and behind the center console beside the passengers feet.

Do any of guys have pics if the IPOD connector mounted?
