ipod plus xm or sirius

Hello,

Just upgraded our '96 4runner to a '07 4runner.



We've got the factor JBL Navigation system. I was reading about those DICE adapters to control one's iPod from the factory deck and steering wheel.

My wife also wants XM and/or Sirius. (Not sure which yet...)

Lastly, I was thinking about HD radio as an addition or alternative.

You know, the works.


So I saw this guy on eBay, an iPod and XM or Sirius (they have both) integration kit. Price is OK... $450'ish.

Any recommendations on an all-in-one solution for iPod, HD, and one of the satelite radio solutions (XM, Sirius)?

I did some searching and found a solution for one or the other, but not all three. That eBay link is the first I've seen that at least tackles two.

It does exactly what your looking for.

XM and Sirius merger

A merger has been announced for XM and Sirius so you probably won't have to choose. The merger is in it's final stages.

For people interested, they want to make sure it does not become a monopoly.

"Mid 2008" is the predicted date at which the deal will close.

AK602: Looks like that guy does iPod only, right? That one on eBay does iPod and XM Radio (or iPod and Sirius radio depending on the model).

I was hoping to find something that did iPod and satellite radio and HD radio?

The one I mentioned has a complete ipod integration as well as an additional rca aux input. You can use the ipod and add any xm radio, sirus radio, dvd player, record player (LOL) of your choice.
