I have to agree.

What I was saying was I want mine to look like that runner color (red)..I love the look of my 4runner and would love it even more with that color. why are you guys criticizing me when you guys have a million more crazy mods than I do? That's a little bit hypocritical...

but see most have mods that actually help performance either in the trail or on road. i think only a small portion of people on here are out to make their truck "pretty"
personally i dont really car what my 4runner looks like to much (obviously not falling apart) as long as it runs like a champ. just sayin......

dont worry dude you and me are on the same boat im doing the murdered "look" and did alot of work on it and posted pics and i havent gotten any comments this forum i thought would be a good place to learn and share and hopefully get some good feed back but if you on here to tune and make your truck "pretty" then ill send you link for a diffrent forum everyone seems to have to offroad mind set and doesnt really care. And who cares if you get your paint job done at macco iv seen great paint jobs for the price bye them also your only 17 so of course you dont have loads of cash for a paint job if everyone wants to say something negative then you could just join a good tuner forum!


personally i think you have an awsome start and the seat covers and steering wheel will look great with the paint job! i would maybe get some duplicolor VHT night shades and do a light smoke on your tail lights to go with the black and red theme. Post up some new pics of the progress man keep up the good work! arty:

Well man I respect what your saying, I'm a 17 year old kid without a job and limited money, I already had the whole engine rebuilt already and it runs perfectly man its a very powerful 3.0 it has great acceleration. And I thought since it ran perfectly I do some looks. I plan on to when I get a job at the local Harris teeter to do performance mods such as headers 2 inch wheel spacers and a 3 inch lift with a zuk mod it's all in the works man it's comin along

Thanks man I truly appreciate that comment, yea maybe a couple of coats of VHt on the taillights would be cool, I will defiantly post pics man thanks so much, and I would love to see your cars you got a link or pics? And when it comes to this forum yotatech does stuff like this, but the forum with classic t4rs it's defiantly different I might have to join another forum doesn't anyone have anything nice to say? Hey, im James im 16. lovin your build man i really like the convertible option for summer. thought id pop in as another young builder as some encouragement to ya its good to know i aint the only young gun on here. where you located? maybe if your close we can hit some trails

ya man no prob!! im in the same situation and i hate when ppl put you down over dumb stuff its your truck and you got some good plans for it personally i would like to have a clean well performing truck than have a lifted rusted out truck no saying that everyones but you see were im coming from. Also if you decide you dont like the VHT nightshades you can always get some paint thinner and a terry cloth and take it right off! were did you get that steering wheel man? i love it i want to get a black or carbon fiber one for my runner. And i just made an account today on tunercarforum.com it seems like a good spot to learn and share info doesnt matter what you drive as long as its the way you want it and your happy then dont worry what everyone has to say and fyi i like the street glow sticker!! cheers!:guitar3:

Nice! i was born in south Carolina an lived in NC until about 7 years ago. in Durham. i love it there i hate ohios weather. i come down alot in the summer to visit my granddad and his boat.

They have slot of them the farther u scroll down cheap the prow they for the one I got for $50

Here they are, they came off this yellow Toyota who the guy said he ran with the rims for a year , here's what they looked like on his truck and the rims by them selves, they been professional powder coated black I scored them for 90 bucks off craigslist
