Ironman front lift

I purchased a set of ironman lift springs and shocks today. Lift will begin soon when I find the time. I'm not in a huge hurry now that I am having so little trouble riding with these 285's at stock height. I have a choice of 3 different LC springs and trying to decide which ones to get. I'm thinking I'll go medium so that I don't ride too stinkbug or too much rake as some like to call it.

never heard of this lift. those look like performance products springs.

ya cj i saw u mention that u wanted to get an ironman lift but ive nvr heard of it... looks like a solid product though and i know that its more prevalent on LCs so cant wait for those pics of it on the 4runner. So wehre r u gonna get some LC coils? ive been wanting to get those ones u had but now i need to find someone else that has some so if u know anyone plz let me know. I want 9 wraps...

Cool, I'm waiting on responses from 2 of the 3 on color codes. All three are pretty good guys but just busy and I have to be patient for them to send me the dot sequence.

Very similiar to OME but a little cheaper. Ironmans used to be hard to come by in the states until my friend Eli at Camel4x4 started selling ironman stuff. I have no idea on the quality of there winches but was thinking of buying one later on in my build.

I remembered this thread over on the other forum about the Camel 4x4/Ironman lift and I found it again. This guy states he only got ~1" of front lift (although I couldn't see any difference in his pics so I would say more like 0-.5"). I think this is going to give you a ridiculously steep rake with any LC coils. Just thought you might want to see how bad his rake is with just the Ironman coils. Add about 2" to his rear and that's probably what yours would look like with LCs.

I'll have to see that. Eli told me that I'd get around 2"s I believe. I have to find his email now.

after reading above post I may need to get some spacers now....not sure yet

ya dude if ur only getting 2" in the front i wouldnt go with any of the LC coils bc ull be getting too much rake. I wonder if 890s or 891s would be better for u...

I'll just throw a spacer on the rear if thats the case. No biggie.

I know, sorry for the confusion, I mean I'll throw some spacers on my OEM rear springs.

Dang, that guy got a lot of negative responses in the thread. True he had a large rake but that kit states that the rears are to carry 660lbs!!! which if he put close to that much weight back there I can guarantee the rake would have disappeared. From my experiences Aussie's love to turn their SUV's into trucks with a bed and load it down to the max with everything including the kitchen sink. The typical way to add increased weight capacity is to add length to a spring....not saying all companies do that just saying it seems Ironman does and I know for a fact OME does. I'm waiting on a response from Eli but I sent the email kinda late so I don't expect a response til later today which won't matter cause I'm going outa town anyway but will post up what he says about the front lift.

After reading the thread on Yotatech one more time, I decided to add a 1.25" Daystar spacer with new longer studs to my Ironmans and may add a 15mm trim packer from Ironman if I need a little extra lift which should get me really close to 3" lift if dudes measurements are accurate on yotatech. I will post up details next weekend when I expect to put the new lift on. Thanks to all that responded and Brian for that link....I'm sure that will save me some head scratching, cursing, and general pissed off behavior, lol.
