Well, looks like I'll be doing a new thread.

I've been looking for this model in this color, in this condition for the last 2 years. Well I'm glad I found it, I'll try to be more up to date with this build but because of the condition of the truck I don't think I'll be doing much as fast as I did with my 98

When I picked it up, the truck had 90,460 miles. Timing belt was recently done at 89k. The records for the truck are pretty amazing. I found a site that can show me all the dealer records from the maintenance that was done to it. The truck is a 1 owner vehicle and the gentleman that sold it to me took very good care of it. The interior is in perfect condition. It's almost like a brand new car. He even had the original window sticker from the dealer.

Here's the website I used for the records:

https://ssl.toyota.com/owners/home

Engine:
-3.4 stock
-deck plate mod
-Airaid

*future plans*
-2nd gen super charger
-7th urd injector

*fiture plans*

Bilstein 5100
Or
99 tall springs
Bilstein 5100

Interior:

Only added some LED dome lights. And also some LED lights for the cargo area
Got there here:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00AW82TQS/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Rims and tires:
5th gen trail edition wheels
Bf Goodrich TA KO2 265/70/17

Here's what the truck looked when I got her

Man, I was wondering if that truck would show up here. I sort of know the owner but had no idea he had a 4Runner. When he told me he was selling it with only 90k miles I told him I wanted to store it until I ran my current one into the ground. Glad it's going to someone who really appreciates it!

Oh man I was crossing my fingers and hoping no one else knew about it lol

I know I lucked out for sure, even my dad was surprised with how clean and well maintained it was. I'm definetely gonna baby this

Quick update

Haven't really don't much to her lately, the only major thing I've done was clean off and repaint the under carriage.

The truck came from Utah so it had some surface rust, but the previous owner tool really good care of it and fortunately the rust wasn't a huge issue, just some small surface rust. Now it looks like it came fresh off the lot. I used an angle grinder with a 4" wire brush. And for the smaller areas I used my dremel and got a bunch of wire wheels for it.

After getting rid of the rust I blasted the frame with some break cleaner so clean off the surface, whipped it off with some shop towels and sprayed some rust reformer. After that I repainted the area with fresh chassi paint. Here's a small sample of what it came out to look like. I'll try to load some better ones when I get under her

Rola rack

I saw a post on here that the rola rack was on sale on Amazon so I went ahead and got one. One hell of a deal, pretty easy to mount but I'm going to have to make some brackets for it so it can sit lower

Here's how it looks

Isr !!

Just did the ISR this week and so far I really like how it came out. It sounds good and not too annoying when I'm on the highway. Even my gf said she liked the sound of it, which is really weird lol

Here's he link I used, also a pic of how mine came out.

P.S I kept it raw metal while I'm still deciding what color to make it. I'm leaning towards a gunmetal color to match the truck but black is also clean and simple

Last upgrade for a while

So I'm pretty much at a point to where I like how the truck feels and sound and pretty much a performs. I got a killer deal on some new tires so I decided to pull the trigger on some bf Goodrich k02 in 265/70/17 load range E. I got a set it 5th gen trail edition wheels a few weeks ago so I mounted them on and I really love the way it came out. The next upgrade will be a super charger but I'll have to wait and do my hw before I pull the trigger on that.

Heres a pic I took today at my local autozone right after I picked her up

When your friend shows up with his 2nd gen, and it starts to give you the idea of lifting it
