I paid 10k after all the out of state taxes and California emissions. the original owner took real good care of it plus there's tons of paper work for all the maintenance done to it plus it had a fresh timing belt so to me I personally think I got it for a steal

Nice!! I agree. You really lucked out and got that for a steal. I'm personally looking for one right now too but not having too much luck. It will come in time though I believe.

Yeah just be patient... it took me about 2 1/2 years to find it. Make sure you're willing to travel to find one.

June 16 2017-windows got TINT

Nothing major done today, I just got the windows tinted since it's scorching in California this weekend, I did 20% all around (including the rear stock tint) and I also got the windshield tinted, I did 50% on that

I really want to do that 50% windshield tint, but even in AZ I'm worried about being pulled over. Plus, I have a feeling it's really going to hinder my night vision.

I know what you mean, I was a little hesitant to get the 50% but I just decided to go for it. My buddy drove with that for years and never got pulled over, I found some videos on YouTube which kinda convinced me to get it. I'll try to take a picture later at night but you should check this out

I had the day off so I did a bit of cleaning, I took off the center console and cleaned the vents plus the I took off the blower fan and gave that a cleaning but I forgot to take a picture of the fan, it wasn't too dirty so it wasn't a big deal

Since I was in the cleaning mood, I went ahead and washed it but then I got crazy and did some clay bar and wax to finish her off, she's looking like its brand new... I fell in love with it all over again

10-14-17 mileage at 16,060 maintenance

Today I spent pretty much the whole day on doing some routine maintenance for my baby, so Im in Northern California, the bay are to be exact and we've been hit with some nasty fires. Luckily today it cleared up enough to wash my runner. I also had the chance to drain the radiator and do the flush on that and installed a new thermostat and got some fresh toyota coolant. After that I detailed her as much as a could but I know more ash is coming. I also changed the oil and got a new filter

Thermostat part number 90916-03075
Oil filter part number 90915-yzzd1
Drain plug gasket 90430-12031


Sorry I don't have that many pics because it got dark but here's what my coolant looked like. Not too bad if you ask me

PS. Oh and yes the little swivel on the thermostat is at 6 o'clock lol

126k miles

Took her out to Tahoe for the weekend, first time I drove her on snow. There wasnt much but there was plenty of black ice. She handled it just fine

Lately I’ve been thinking of putting her up for sale and getting a 5th gen but then I give her a good wash and it totally changes my mind lol
