Is $250 OK price for Cat-back system?

I would like to know if this is a good deal for a Cat-back muffler system for my 4th gen V-6 Runner.
This includes 2 1/2" piping, a large magnaflow muffler, tail pipe turned out to the right side with chrome tip extension!

Also, should I get single side chrome tip or dual side chrome tip? I'm thinking the dual chrome tip would look good coming out of the side of my Runner!

No comments??? What if I was to ask about installing a dual exhaust system on my Runner. Can this be done on the 4th generation Runner without removing the spare tire? Anyone of you can chime in at anytime you know!

Where are you getting that price? I got a 2 1/2" cat-back with a 40 series Flowmaster with stainless tip fabbed up locally for $170. so I wouldn't say it was the worst deal you could get.

I forgot to mention that was on my 2nd gen. Almost the same it was a v6 also. But I did call the same shop when I got my 4th gen and they said it would cost about the same.

That's a decent price for a custom exhaust system. Dual exhaust should be easy as Magnaflow/Borla/TRD have one for the 4th gen. I think the only problem was the TRD unit on the 2005 SE as the XREAS forced you to remove the spare tire to fit.

Thanks fellows.....I might consider dualing it out both sides. I just don't want all of that loud highway drone which comes with some systems.

was it JUST the TRD unit that you need to remove the spare tire.... or do you need to do that with the Borla unit too??

XREAS is the upgraded suspension that comes stock on the 4th gen Sport Editions and optionally on the Limited models. The shocks are diagionally to increase stability on road driving (Front driver connected to rear passenger shock, Front passenger connected to rear driver shock). Do a search and you'll find a better explanation.

It was designed by Yamaha and the Toyota JDM vehicles have been using it, but this is the first SUV to have it.

IForce... I think Borla has the spare tire issue, also... no room for the left pipe to cross from the passenger side over to the driver side (behind the spare tire). This is because they moved the XREAS components and made it tighter in there (compared to the 03, for instance, which has no problems). Magnaflow has no problems because it's a dual pipe exiting on the passenger side, therefore it doesn't cross.
