BARF! So that is $579.93 U.S. ?
You could do it yourself and save a lot of $$$.
All you need is a bit of your time. (3 Mircobrews)
Front diff - 3 pints
Rear diff - 6.5 pints
Transfer case - 3 pints
The only odd ball tool you much not have is a 10mm Hex Key or Allen driver for the front Diff.

Yes, I did my for less than $100 w/new gaskets and Amsoil. I changed all 3 and oil in about an hour.

are you crazy?? Dont even think about it for 600 bux. One of the best synthetic oils - Amsoil Severe Gear Oil will run you $100 top (about $14 per liter @ Peavey Mart). Washers + hand pump about $20 more. Thats it! Oh yeah, and may be an 2 hours max doing it yourself. Most of the time you will be pumping oil, its almost as easy as changing engine oil. There is procedure with pictures in Maintanance section with great pictures, very few tools required. Good luck

Sheesh,even the AAMCO here will do it for a little under $300 and that's a bit of a ripoff.
I use Redline fluids in all my gear boxes and do changes every 40-50k miles or every 4 years.

My stealer does the Diff's $79/per and the Transfer Case $99 I think. That's less than $300.

$600 better come with a full massage (including foot rub) with happy ending and free mai tais...

It mentions torquing the drainplugs and fill plugs to a specified ft lb though. Did you guys do that or just tighten them up

Use a torque wrench! If you are like me. (6'4" 275) When I think I just snugged up the bolt, I'll check it with a tq wrench and it will be double some times. :bash:
Better safe then sorry.
With all of the money you are saving, go out and buy a decent tq wrench. And then you'll have it for life.

Unless you have an extra $600 to throw away, then listen to what everyone else is telling you and change it yourself. The write up is a great one with pics etc. Get all your tools, gaskets, oil and buy the hand pump too.

Maybe they actually charge $200 to do it but an extra $400 to do that "special torque thing"...

You will be just fine. Go for it. I have done service on mine twice including the transmission. Just gets a little messy with the fluid and the pump. With the right pump and attachments it's no problem. Just don't torque the transfer case plugs too tight - apply the specified torque. Those are aluminum cases. I once cracked my Nissan Maxima aluminum trans-axle (5-speed manual) trying to tighten the fill-plug too much. No issues with the hair-line crack but man it sure was a sinking feeling when it popped!
