sits a little high, but the perforated leather is nice.

I'm still debating mine. Bought the is250 one, it's not perforated - but I could absorb the loss better if I don't like it.

The 5th gen 'shift' knob is very bulky, sits pretty high, gets in the way and makes shifting feel kind of clunky. This helps.

Like I said, still debating mine. The stock one's not bad, but it is really bulky. This is just something to try, it's a 2 second mod so not much invested :)

LOL.

It's a full-size SUV. You move that lever when you turn it on, when you turn it off, and when you go backwards...why would you care if it's bulky?

That IS-F knob looks So Gay.

You're right! Why would anyone care about an antenna?
You just use it to get am/fm reception, you only use it while you're driving - who cares if it's bulky.

I don't crap in other peoples threads about adding more chrome, or bull bars or anything - which aren't my taste. I sure as hell don't tell people there stuff looks gay.
To each there own.

I like the IS-F shift knob. How much was it and did you get it at the dealership?

Haters can kiss my ass, as usual.

i was actually looking for a shift knob from a limited at first. i just dont like the all rubber feel from the sr5 shift knob. but then i read here that the leather on the limited knob may not be worth it..... so i found the is-f knob on ebay for $30shipped. leather is nice, and the shifter feel is a plus over the brick style shift knob.

The IS-F shift knob would be a perfect complement to the 5th gen interior combined with a shorter shift lever (aftermarket, are you listening?). I am not fond with the bulkiness of the stock knob, but don't find an elevated smaller knob to be to my liking either. Lower the shaft about an inch, and the IS-F knob would be a perfect choice for the 4Runner.

The first thing I noticed when I picked up my TE was how they half-assed the shifter design. Just looks like an afterthought.

I am going to put the long Momo Anitomico on. Basic leather, nothing fancy. Will just look less... cheap and clunky.

Looks great, I am looking at either a MOMO Evo or Anatomico for mine, the SR5 shifter is too plasticy and bulky.
