Is it a bad fuel pump?

My 95 (3.0l, 6cyl) - 180K miles - will crank but not start.

I don't hear the fuel pump come on.

I "jumped" pins B+ and FP with a paperclip - and get nothing.

How likely is it that it's a bad fuel pump?

Would it make more sense to put an in-line fuel pump in, instead of dropping the gas tank and replacing the original?

How hard is it to replace?

You dont have to drop the tank, there is an access panel under the rear seat.

Check all your fuses and to a pressure check on your fuel system.

Are you sure about the access panel on the '95? I lifted the seat and looked and didn't see anything????

There was one in the one I parted out last summer.

This probably is the difference between doing it myself and having it towed to the shop....
