Wait, same 4runner, 2 years later, lost 600 dollars in book value and you are disappointed? Did you think it was going to go up because you put money into it? They arent collector cars, yet, anyway. Pick any make and model on a showroom floor today, go look up the book value, check it again in 2 years. There isnt a single one you could find that wont go down $600 in months, much less 2 years.

Well, i just didnt think itd drop really, seems like at one point it was going up and then down now, which there are reasons for that. Im not really upset lol. Say if i were to sale it, Id see 2 to 4k offers now.(not gonna sale it tho) Its gettin close to a collector car to me now haha.jk. No, i know that the "mods" or upgrades ive done to it will not increase the value, I just said that because its like a money pit, but no one can help to buy all this cool stuff for it. I would think itd drop more with newer ones....?

4runners are like herpes, once you get one, you have it for life. :D

Hahahaha thats an odd way to put it but very true. I dont see anyone taking mine off my hands honestly and ive had it for 2 years now. It was actually a year ago when i checked the value cause my buddy said his car was worth more than mine...I laughed and showed him i could buy 3 of his rangers for my 1 4runner hahah.

Im surprised mine looks like it went up in value. I looked last year and I remember $3250 in good condition. now it says $3678. Sweet. LOL

In and around DC, prices are usually adjusted up at least 15% over KBB. In other parts of VA, you won't find a big price drop over the DC prices.

Florida, FWIW, usually has the cheapest 4runners IMO.

I live in D.C. and agree. If your runner is a southern, rust free, truck.. it will up its worth here in the North. Rust...

But.. in TN, where most cars are not very rusty, it isn't special.

Well, hopefully mine goes up haha

Ship it up here if you ever want to sell it. Prices are well above BB around here

I think ill have to keep it until it blows up, which i hope it never does... lol. Yea i know location has a little bit to do with value.
