yes, that should be fine. But just make sure the you are using heavy enough wire for the application. If your battery negative is grounded to the frame, as it should be, you can also connect ground to any point on the frame. As far as the +12V, it is fine as well, but again, make sure you are using heavy enough wire.
Since your negative battery cable is connected to the body/frame of the vehicle, it is easy to find a good ground just about anywhere in or on the vehicle. To put several grounds together is fine for the most part as long as you don't cause a condition where too much current is flowing through the ground connection causing the component or components to momentarily shut down. I've seen this happen before on loose grounds that would have otherwise been sufficient for the circuit.
And if you're dealing with stereo equipment, it is almost always preffered to ground your components to the same point. If you use different ground points for your sounds system components (head unit and amp, for example), you have to be careful to avoid a ground loop, which will usually put noise or static into your system.
