i have found 4 bfg at 285/70/17 with 4 1/2 /32 tread left for around 200 shipped is that a good deal considering these go for 800 plus brand new?

Well they usually need to be replaced by law at 2/32 here in California and I'm not sure about arkansas. So you would need to replace them soon if you want to be safe. I would say maybe 6 months or so. I would just buy new because the BFG's will last you about 60k and that is 4 years or more for only 4x the price. Plus you would have to pay to have them mounted and balanced.
