Is the 6th gen 4Runner?

Isn't the 6th Gen another model year away? Anyway, that styling makes sense if the Lexus GX is any indication.... but it's been the Prado/Hilux that seemed to follow that design template, not necessarily the 4Runner???

That's not the new 4Runner. Quit grasping at straws and wait until the spy shots start filtering in, usually around October or November and a full reveal sans specs in December or January at one of the major shows. Specs will then fully be released in June or July of 2016 for the 2017 models. Timeline:

Oct-Nov 2015: Spy shots for 2017 model 4Runner
Jan 2016: Full reveal at Chicago, Detroit, New York, etc.
Jun-Jul 2016: Full specs revealed for 2017 model 4Runner
Sep-Oct 2016: Units on dealer lot for purchase.

Don't rush. There is the schedule lol.

I updated your schedule to include my 'wish' =)

Hopefully some get a laugh..

Those dumb engineers accidentally put the steering wheel on the wrong side!

I love it personally. I've driven the current fortuner and it's great. I personally would buy one over a 4runner if it were available here. It's basically a modern 3rd gen 4runner. When ours grew to a 120/150 chassis the rest of the world didn't.

That new model looks like a perfect mini version of a GX/Prado.

The "invisible" C pillar and rising belt line kind of make it look like a bloated Land Rover Evoque. To me the front end design has some kind of disconnect with the rear. It could grow on me though. I'm surprised it's body on frame because the lines and overall shape suggest unibody.

If that's the new 6tu gen they turn the wrong way and hit the stupid ugly dumb wall :cry2: ....but like others have said before I bet its not the 6th gen 4runner..

We are sure this isn't the next Lexus g series OR Landcruiser? Looks a little large and has similar lines to those models?

Unless the new Hilux Frame and Tacoma are once again built on the same platform, then no. The Fortuner is based on the Hilux's Ladder Frame; while the Tacoma is based on the J150 (LandCruiser Prado 150) frame. As far as I know the new Tacoma is built on a supposedly "new" frame, but it's probably just a variant of the Prado frame much in the way the J150 is next to identical to the J150 frame (i.e. the 5th Gen 4Runner Frame is dimensionally the same as the 4th gen's)
