is there a 2010 4runner SR5 limited edition???

So im about to purchase another 4runner, its a 2010 that looks exactly like the limited, same all wheel drive tranny with the knob to switch to locking diff and 4 low, leather, JBL package, 20" limited rims ect. everything the limited has but no "limited" badges and the carproof says its a 2010 toyota 4runner SR5. The owner says its a SR5 limited, is this correct?

no sir, there is no SR5 Limited.

if it truely is from 2010...if it has a dial, not a shift lever, for the 4WD system, and that nob has H4F H4L H4L around it for your choices...in addition to the leather seating, heated front seats, and dubb wheels all around...then it truely is a Limited. it sounds like a previous owner, as many on here have done, has removed the badging. Some dont like the chromed badging, or badging period.

ya it has all that, its exactly a 2010 limited, but its weird that the car proof says its a sr5 and not limited

In regards to it being a Limited, but being in the system as an SR5, that could have to do with the dealer who originally sold it. Every time I take my TE into the dealer for service, the sheet they give me outlining the services to be performed says "2014 4Runner SR5". I asked them to change it because I would hate for a routine service on the KDSS, or e-locker, or something TE specific would be overlooked because their system thinks it's an SR5. They told me everything goes by the VIN and they looked up the VIN and it was a Trail Edition. So maybe that has something to do with hit.

It's been 5 years since it was new. If the owner had also put a scooped hood on there and you'd have an SR5/Limited/Trail.......
