Is there a compression testn how-to somewhere?

I am looking to do a compression test on my 96 T4R V6, but I cannot find a writeup on it, especially as to what the compression spec is for each cylinder.

Don't worry so much about the actual numbers you get, what you're looking for is the cylinders to be withing 10% of each other. There are too many factors that can affect your actual reading, you can't compare to other people's results with any accuracy. (the actual guage you used may not be "accurate", the barometric pressure where you did your test, etc)

-do the test on a hot engine
-pull the fuel pump fuse
-remove all spark plugs
-hold throttle wide open while cranking
-crank engine over 6-8 times per cylinder, but make sure you do the same amount for each one
-if you have a cylinder lower than the rest, try putting a capful of oil down that cylinder and repeat the test, if the numbers come up it tells you piston rings are the issue, if it doesn't come up you are likely looking at valve seals
