Is there an audible option to plug onto the T4R emergency brake's switch? Or! Just make your own. It’s too easy to leave the brake slightly on due to very little to no resistance backing out and will go forward with little resistance if it is not applied good. I saw on a recent post where a friend drove 50 mi with the brake on and cause damages. I thought it c/n happen to me due to the forward resistance I usually feel. Yesterday I d/n feel the resistance 4-5 mi until I stopped and attempted to apply the brake (to discover it was on but not hard). I could do a quick touch on all the rotors and d/n see or smell smoke. jow

Your 'BRAKE!' warning light should come on even if the parking brake (it is not called emergency brake anymore) is just barely engaged...the first click. If not, maybe your warning light bulb is out or the light switch needs adjustment...

Mine has an audible beep if I drive with it on.. So does my Tundra.

Thanks! The light is working fine. Bell/Whistles would help as I make the transition from emergency brakes to parking brakes, LOL. The 07 V6 2WD T4R is new to me (3,000 mi this 1st year) after the last 15 yrs in a V6 2WD Ford Explorer and 20 years in Jeep Wagoneers. This is the strongest frame I’ve seen of these models that I’ll hope to settle into. jow
