Been slowly putting my 4runner back together, and running into a bunch of small issues along the way. None of this stuff in the tailgate works, not the window, wiper nor defroster. I know this is a very common issue, and I have searched the forum for a while, but I still can't find a definitive answer.
I checked the wiring in the tailgate loom and everything seems to be fine there, and I don't see any blown fuses in the kick panel.
The weird thing is, it doesn't seem like I'm getting power to the defrost switch at all because the light does not illuminate, so that's why I'm wondering if it's a fuse.
I know there is a defrost relay under the hood, but since the window also doesn't work, I don't believe that relay is the culprit.
