Is this a far price?

I've been looking for a 4runner 05+ limited for a while and think I may have found one.

Listed as a dark gray 06 limited with 66,866 miles (I think it is more black, I'll never seen such a dark gray 4runner).

They say the final price is $21497.00. Is this a far price? I'm in NC and willing to drive if the price is right.

Edmunds True Market Value (which I tend to trust more than KBB) is showing a hair under $21k without the regional adjustment.

I've read a lot of posts from others saying they're routinely getting what I consider great deals, so I'll sit back and let others weigh in on the qualitative assessment of this price.

Kinda high miles, but the price is within reason.

Definitely not black. Mine's Galactic Grey or whatever they call it and depending on the lighting looks like the one you are looking at.

$21497.00 is without $99 doc fee, tax and tag.

Does 66,866 miles seem high, I thought it wasn't bad.

Carfax report is clean. There were 3 owners. Check the Trade-In value and don't pay more than that price.

I'm an insurance adjuster and pay retail all the time for total losses. Having said that nothing ever sells for full retail. I bought my wife a 08' Honda Accord V6 EXL for 22,500, retail was 27000. I just bought a 05' Sport V8 4x4 for 14500 and retail was 19000. If retail on the runner you're looking at is 21k I would get them down to 18k Max. That's just me and they may or may not be willing or able to move on the price. If it has warantee that's worth something, but keep in mind how long the warantee will last for you. Good luck on your purchase! Be sure to give them a firm offer and tell them that's all you're willing to spend and you'll be shocked at how much they can come off the price. Hope this helps!
