Is this part necessary?

Quick question....I just replaced my stock fogs with the 2 in 1 led fogs/drl. The plastic shield (front bumper reinforcement stopper) on the passenger fog, is that needed? It was such a pain removing without taking my bumper off, that I’d rather not put back if I don’t need to.

Been rocking with it off when i replaced mine with rigid industries. Id just make sure your fogs are some what waterproof...or resistant? [emoji854] the passenger wheel well has holes on that side.
