not to familiar with the capabilities of these landrovers..but i know they are well known for what they can do.

but this is an intense hill climb..

its legit but its notas cool as you think.

1. the trees are growing upright and it is a intense grade hill
2. the rock or hill he is on is lava rock, and it is extremely grippy and when its sunny it gets hot enough to heat the tires to be super sticky.
3. the electronically controlled stabilizing system on the LR is amazing if you notice when he is going down the hill that the gap between the front and rear tire and the fender well changes as he goes down the hill.

Its legit but not really that special any truck could climb that rock straight but if he went sideways along it he would have been rolled in a second the long wheelbase from front to rear and the control system kept it on from flipping.

Its a lot harder to flip a vehicle then to roll it.

apparently it is real. I didn't reallt believe it either. I thought the camera had to be at some wierd angle to make it look steeper. I feel like I've seen a video with the angle looking a bit less steep. Here is one of a toyota doing it, still looks pretty intense.

Yes, it is real and yes it is very impressive. There are a lot of videos of various vehicles making (and failing to make it) up that particular hill. Some make it, some crash.

Its totally real! see what happens is the closer you are to the lower part of the equator there is an increase on the directional pull of the Earths rotation. In effect causing an increase of surface area pressure allowing for such incredible feats.

Man, I don't care what anybody says. That's pretty damn impressive. I've driven up & down similar grade dirt hills (maybe not quite as steep), however they were no where near the height of this one (maybe only about 25 - 30 ft) when I had my Ramcharger (before I had my T4R) and it was still quite the pucker factor.
I wouldn't want to try this one... And there's an audience at the bottom too! If one of those vehicles gets out of control, someone's TOAST!
