Larry77 New member Jul 29, 2008 #4 Probably a lot easier to fix behind the deck...My Kenwood had a power antenna wire that I wired to the amp...now I get better than stock reception.

F Fanman47 New member Jul 29, 2008 #5 Thank you guys, I was just double checking. I will let you know how it works out. I have power/turn on going back there to my sub amp and popping off the plastic in the cargo area was easier than getting to my cd player. LF

F Fanman47 New member Jul 29, 2008 #6 So after a couple broken clips and one remaining mysterious screw, this is not the way to fix the problem. Larry, do you remember what the amp wire looked like? I had my cd player installed and didn't want to take apart the dash, but guess I will have too.

Larry77 New member Jul 30, 2008 #7 Yeah...there are two big antenna wires behind the deck and in the same "bundle" there is a third smaller black wire--that is the wire you are looking for...just give it power and your good to go.
