I'm not arguing that at all. I have a 14 trail with upgraded suspension and if someone did there research they could buy 2 2014 with 40k miles for the same price.

Southern California dealers are also pushing the price of TRDPro Tacomas in to the $50k range as well.

Arguably, the 2017TRDPro Tacoma has far more in actual custom upgrades over the TRD Sport or regular Tacoma.. The seats and exterior accents are would not be as easy upgrade.

However you can literally turn your Trail Premium in to the TRDPro in only a few easy steps adding exterior trim and a TRD shocks. Why anyone overpays for a TRDPro is baffling.
 
The dealer markups are such a sham. I paid $43,500 for my brand-new 2016 TRD PRO 4runner with added sliding cargo deck, retractable cargo cover, mesh cargo net and paint protection vinyl just 3-months back.

I am excited to see that even with 5K miles they go in excess of $50K - first time I've owned a vehicle that appreciated in value, haha. :focus: sorry.
 
Update just talked to him. They are not making sand anymore.
Not saying it makes it worth it to me. But some people might be inclined to.

TRD PRO colors for all models are the same for that year model.
Sand is available in 2017 models but not TRD PRO.
For 2016 colors are
Quicksand - Mag. Grey - Super White
For 2017 colors are
Super White - Cement - Barcelona Red

I had a few extra minutes, so I called KoonsToyotaWestminster, asked them about the said TRDPro.
He tried the spill about the last 2016 made and it was one of our :blah::blah::blah: Demos. I asked him why it was 16K over MSRP..... he said excuse me, so I asked again...he stumbled. :faint:

Hey if anyone wants to buy it... It is at our dealership. It has just over 5,000miles on it because it is a demo. It is the last 2016 TRD PRO 4Runner in America with a "NEW" title and can be paid for accordingly. In 2017 they aren't making TRD PRO 4Runners in quicksand. It is advertised at 12,500 over MSRP but offers are welcomed! It's simply a marketed price based on availability.

Well I'm not even sure if I want to pay $12,000 over MSRP anymore.
 
I'm okay with the $12.5 over MSRP but video in portrait format? That I can not abide. Truly an evil dealer and to be avoided.

I find it cute that you think MSRP still applies to a demo.

Son, I am disappoint.

That is a used truck at best.

And I would never buy a demo. Demo's get the shit run out of them by either customers who want to see what they'll do or a dealer staff that takes it home on Sunday and couldn't care less about the vehicle.

$12.5K over market for a used (yes, it's used) vehicle? LOL

That's not a DEMO. A demo sits on the lot and gets driven 2-3 times a week for 10-20 miles.

My guess: that 4R has been in the hands of the owner's wife for 9 months. To call it a demo is somewhere between a gross exaggeration and a flat out lie. I doubt it's even been on the lot.
