Is your bluetooth not linking up?

A quick fix to anyone having trouble pairing up their bluetooth phone with the car:

If your phone recognizes the car but the car just stays on the connection screen and can't find the phone, make a call. The car can then find the phone and they will be linked automatically whenever your phone is close and the car is on (if that's how u set it).

That's all - it's just a little quirky so I thought I'd help :D

i didnt have any issues linking it up...my issue is i cant figure out how to change the ringer/ringer volume on the HU. it always scares the ba-jesus out of me when it rings.

also i wish the tom-tom nav had an Altimeter built in

i thought the master volume for the nav system also controlled the ringer volume... but i have the factory nav and not the tom tom.

you can adjust the volume of the call...click on the bottom left.. same place you would click to adjust the volume of the nav. you just need to adjust this volume during the call. this just doesnt adjust the ringer
