I read somewhere in Edmunds that 5.0L V8 is not definitive yet...Lexus may go with a hybrid or something. The V8 should be really cool.

I'm ordering a 350 this week, I can't wait till 08 for the $60K+ IS500. I've test drove the 350 three times so far and it is one sweet car with incredible refined power. The only problem is you can't just go buy one unless you are willing to compromise on the options. If I'm going to spend that money I want it exactly the way I want it. I keep vehicles a long time. I have to order it and wait 4 months. I hope I get it before next year! SUCKS!

The IS 250 will drop the 2.5 V6 and it will become the IS 300. It will have the old 245hp 3.0 from the GS.
