iso: OEM info for factory deck > AS1707

in search of oem deck info: as1707

I figured after I just bought my first 4runner (1998) I would go old school and bust out the casettes, leaving in the factory installed deck for a while.

" I LOVE SUB'S"

I was gong to upgrade the front and rear speakers and add a sub.

not so easy since Im dealing with a mix of aftermarket and oem parts.

Basically I'm concerned about putting in my 4ohm/8ohm sony xplod speakers into a unknown spec system(2ohm?)

seems like this factory installed casstte deck is a cd changer.
so It seems I could at least install a cd changer.

should I even bother with this deck , since it's highly doubtfull it has and additional pre-outs for a sub amp.
any oem info is appreciated.
