ISR mod questions

Looking to do the ISR mod, but ive had one problem

I cant find any pipe around here that is 2.75" OD..

What are you guys using?

I dont care if its plastic, or metal..

Just need pipe, and ive looked at the local home depot, and hardware store, and i havent found anything...

When I did the mod I used a piece of pvc conduit... I still had to mill the ends down to make it fit though. I ended up not like the obnoxiously loud drone it made so I put the silencer back on. Your local Home Depot should have it (that's where I got mine) but if you're in a jam we could work something out and I'll ship you the piece.

When I did mine many moons ago, I went to a local muffler shop. Get a piece of 2.5" exhaust tubing and have them expand the ends to 2.75". It works perfectly and is super cheap to do.

went to the local exhaust shop round here..

They are cutting me a section of 3" and 2.5"..im gonna try the 3..if its too big (its only a quarter inch bigger than the stock, and it is a rubber tube its goin into) then ill use the 2.5..

Ill try what you guys said though (having the ends expanded) if neither works

IIRC, the 3" pipe will be too big in diameter to fit into the stock tubing. Let us know which works best.

yep, the 2.5 is going to need to be expanded lol...
