Issue with pairing 2 iPhones to Non Nav?

I have successfully been able to pair both my wife's and my iphone. However it seems like once I use the truck with my phone, the next time my wife goes to use the truck, her phone won't reconnect. Anyone else have this issue? Solution? Both are 3GS with OS 4.0.1. Using phone and audio capabilities.

Thanks, Brian

I had the same issue trying to set mine up. All I could figure out is that you have to go into settings and activate the different phone when you alternate between the two.

Yeah, it remembers the most recent phone connected as the default phone. If you want to change phones, hit the talk button, say phone setup, and then, I think, you say "select phone". It will list the phones and you choose your wife's phone.

Luckily, I'm the primary driver of the 4Runner and my 32gb iphone has all the music versus her 16gb, so we just leave mine paired 90% of the time.

Yes, this all seems pretty accurate to what I have experienced. You can have a lot of phones (I think up to 6) registered with the system, but if you want to switch between the, you have to do it manually.

I know someone with a 2010 Mini and they have a primary and secondary phone assignment. So if both phones are in the car together, it automatically selects the primary. Otherwise, it auto connects with which ever phone is in the car.

I would be great if our blue tooth system had that feature, but I don't think it's possible.

If anyone had a work around I would LOVE to here it!
