This started today. After unlocking my 4runner with the FOB, I grabbed a bag out of it and closed the door. The FOB would not lock the door. I then opened the driver door and tried to lock with the power lock switch, again no response. I manually walked around and locked all doors from the inside, and then locked the hatch with the key. I tried the FOB to unlock, and it worked...again tried to lock, again no response. I opened the door, tried the power lock, didn't work. I then closed the door and tried the FOB again. Didn't work. I hit the unlock button, and instead of the two beeps to unlock, there were 4 beeps. Still couldn't lock, had to do it manually. Got the 4runner home, messed around with it, opening doors, starting and stopping, even ran through the program a FOB cycle I got off the internet, and at one point it reversed, I could only lock with the power locks, not unlock. All of a sudden it started working again and I have no idea what I did. Any clues on what these symptoms are for? Would like to get this fixed if it is a bigger issue to come.
