Issues after lift installed

Well after a troublesome lift installation I finally got the truck back together and on the ground. When I went to back it out of the garage my VSC trac, VSC off, ABS lights were all on. I disconnected the battery to reset the computer and the lights were still on, I took it for a drive and the lights remained on but the breaks worked fine so I'm sure its a wire somewhere. All the wires that run to the sensor look intact and have no visible damage. anyone have any ideas?

yaw sensor

Another member had to reset the yaw sensor after a spacer lift was installed. Click here to read the thread. I'd double check all wheel sensor connections and wires as that is also known to set the lights off.

Have you checked the ABS Sensor on your front axle? Many times shops do not disconnect them and when the the shock is removed it snaps the cable. Trust me I know! :(
 
Daystar spacer lift. Modified a bit. I didn't want 2.5 inches but I wanted more than one inch so i modified the spacers a bit. It looks great but i gotta figure out my breaks. I hope i didn't snap a wire but the insulation around the wire just stretched so i cant see if that wire is broken.

well I pulled off both sensors and my passenger side sensor is doing something weird. My driver side is holding solid at a little over 11 volts on my voltmeter. When the volt meter is connected to my passenger side the voltage just keeps climbing, not holding steady at all. Is this the sign of a bad ground? Mechanically I'm proficient but I suck at electrical stuff so someone please give me some guidance on what this means.
 
ok fixed it. Well I gave up troubleshooting and just pulled the passenger abs wire out of the truck. I peeled back the insulation and sure enough both wires were snapped :bash: So I crimped both wires together and encapulated them in a pound of electrical tape. Once I reconnected it the warning lights were still on so I figured the truck just had to get a chance to test the breaks out first. So I drove down a side street punched it and slammed on the breaks. As soon as the ABS kicked in the lights all went off :bigok:

I may still have a problem at full droop of the front suspension because i did loose about a half an inch of wire so this may be a temporary fix. Considering the wiring harness is $128 from toyota I'll just work with it right now until I NEED a new one.

about full droop, it shouldn't have any effect since the other stock components would limit further travel.
