It just rained inside my 4Runner :(

Apparently, this is the first time it has rained since I purchased my 2000 4Runner a month ago. Got in the vehicle at lunchtime to grab a bite to eat and both cupholders were filled with water and so was the center console cubbyhole. The sunroof is the culprit and the whole front headliner is wet too. Gonna try some silicone on the sunroof gasket split and see if that helps.

Also search for Sunroof leaks and clearing the drain tubes. You can seal the split in the gasket but if you don't fix the reason the water is gathering in the first place it will only slow it down. Try not to use compressed air but get piano wire. Again this is addressed in a few other threads so can confirm exact info.
