Congrats on the purchase! Now you get to have fun installing it, lol. Just curious why you went with the diff drop though. I wen't with an 881 coil in front and was told I wouldn't need one...

I figured i'd get it just to be safe. How are your boots holding up juice? The angles aren't too bad??

I have the 881s up front and 890s in rear (now-thanks CSL)

I doubt you will need the diff drop but it is cheap protection all the same. I bought my diff drop from Toytec-they are local to me. And never did install it, no my CV angles did not change significantly.

Some members would argue that a diff drop does very little whatsoever, but that is a whole other topic.

Thanks for the insight, Ron. I guess i'll install the fronts and see what my angles look like and decide for myself whether to install the diff drop. I'm assuming it can't hurt anything.

i dont know how much lift that provides, but i have 2.5" and my boots were pretty destroyed (only the inners though :shrug but anyways i got new boots and did my diff drop and soo far so good. I would reccomend it

I've got over 15,000miles since the lift and no CV problems. I wouldn't be too worried about it but you were definitely smart ordering it just in case...

I would definately install the diff drop!! It's really not that difficult to do, and will save your axles. I'm a relative newbie to mechanical work, so is my dad, and we were able to install it in less then an hour! The biggest issue we had.....getting the skid plate back on!
