The more I drive it, the more I dislike my other car...can't believe how bad that car (olds alero) drives compared to the 4Runner.

I owned a 2001 Olds Alero (black of course) and that thing can't even begin to touch the 4Runner. I had a lot of problems with mine too (the Alero that is).

Hey mine is black, too. It is a 1999 model...the first year it was out...big mistake. It was first model year and it was right after that big GM strike.

I would list all the problems/issues I had with the Alero, but this is a 4Runner forum. :

Plus the hood scoops are sweet even if they don't do a thing but draw envy from the scoopless.

Thanks tkr128. I like it because it acts like color shifting paint...changes color slightly depending on how the light hits it.

I agree about the hood scoop...plus it makes the profile of the 4runner look meaner.

Also, found out just recently...it makes a great bug catcher!
