Question everyone:

How is everyone elses reception with the iTrip? Mine is terrible in my 04 runner. I even have a holder mounted right next to my radio controls. Do I need to mount it elsewhere? I really don't want to get the cassete adapter as I think wireless is so much more convenient.

Ohh and yes I have the iTrip tuned to the best station in my area static wise (87.9) DC area.

Any help?

My itrip also stinks. I tried almost every station and none of them are clear. The Monster iCar play is good or the DLO cradle that plugs in the 12V outlet. I have the Sony cassette adapter and that is not that great either. There is a humming sound heard in the background.

iTRIP is lame!!! Thats why i'm saving up so i can directly connect my ipod to the 'cd changer' port.

The monster iCar is pretty good....i think its much better than the iTrip, and you can change the station to other channels if one loses recepition. The iTrip is just ugly lookin too. Then you need the car charger too if you're worried about your battery. Its a trip for just an iTrip.

Any FM transimitter in the Washington DC area is not going to work well... just too much radio traffic.

I got rid of my iTrip and settled for a Neo iPod integration unit. Works great!
