I wheel a heavily modified 1980 Toyota that I built into more of a 4runner by stretching it and adding a back seat. I'm from Colorado, and I'm Josh's fabricator over at RCI Metalworks. Let me know if I can answer any questions about our products, or just metal fab in general. -Eric

Good lookin' buggy!

My '00 F150 needs a winch bumper that doesn't look like ass, you guys have plans to add older trucks to your lineup? I'd be happy to offer up my ride for a couple days of test fitting. :D

Sorry, but I don't see that happening. We're moving forward with some new Toyota skids at the moment, and we're pretty maxed out on storage space as it is.
 
love it. Not trying to pry, but seiously, license plate? Do you drive it on the road legally? No hate, just curious as to CO DMV/Police.

Well, it is technically still a 1980 Toyota truck, with slight body modifications, but no, it's a trailer queen. In CO we either have to have plates, or OHV stickers to be on trails, so I'm good to wheel with these plates and keep everyone happy.

From where I sit, Colorado street laws are amazingly lax. Some of the rigs they tool around the streets in would get impounded in five minutes here.

But I'm not jealous, oh no... :mad:

I'm in FL. On a daily basis I see cars without windows/wind shields, doors, bumpers, hoods, etc. Harly/VW bug trikes, a Cesna airplane shell on a trike frame with prop still on it, a Taurus that has 2x4s holding it together with pad locks, but my RHD converted Mirage to Lan Evo was impounded and crushed along with my Civic. VA used to pull me for being too low in my S10. I suppose I just have bad luck. A friend had a Baja styled Taco that got him hit with so many fines it wasnt worth pulling from impound. Good ol' boys down here on the Gulf.

They are super lax. I see vehicles on a daily basis that wouldn't be on the road anywhere else, and most the time are hazards in and of themselves.

Where are you in Colorado? Have a website? May be looking for skids and rails for my 4th gen
 
We're on the east side of Ft. Collins. Rcimetalworks.com we make a lot for the 4th gen, sliders, skids, diff covers, link covers, a-arm plates.

I lost interest in FB, and being on this forum allows me to help out with work. Still fabbing, still wheeling. Penrose for black Friday.
