It's NOT a ford!

I can't believe it, but some people keep thinking I'm driving a ford suv when it's really a 2010 4R TE. My hypothesis is that the salsa red is very close to the common(?) red colour seen on ford suv's. Anyone else the victim of mistaken identity?

I was working in Montana and somebody asked me if my 4r was a suped up CRV or Rav4 thingy that girls drive.

I think the red color is almost identical to the explorer red. Personally im not a fan...

The only thing that 4Runners have in common with Fords (or Jeeps) is four wheels and a horn.:naughty:

Different scenario here, I had the Runner for a month now and people had mistaken my car for a Lexus twice. :dunno: I told them it was a toyota and they looked at me like I was from another planet. Im also in Michigan currently where there are nothing but Fords and GMs......aand Crysler.

When I first bought my FJ in 2006, people thought it was a hummer, and some even worse, the scion box looking car thing.

my landscaping guy came over last night to review some work we are doing in the yard. I was cleaning out the 4R when he pulled up. He now wants to buy his wife one just like mine because it is so "clean looking." Compliments left and right. He said it looks like a mix of the old sequoia and the lexus SUV.
