How and what did u do for the BMC before mounting the nitto MT ?

Thank you for the very kind words and props!
Hood scoop purely for looks and to set the front off to a more aggressive look!

I only rubbed on front fender liners with the 285's and spidertaxx, and BARELY touched the body mount. For sake of issues, I chopped the body mount, and moved the front liners up about 2". There are many threads on moving wheel liner up to allow for no rubbing.

Where did you get the BMC done? What kind of shops should I look for locally to do that?

Just looked through your build, very nice setup! I too am coming from a FJC; '13 FJ w/ 200k miles and the trans is starting to go out, so I just purchased a '16 T4R Limited in blizzard pearl. I'll definitely go with the TRD wheels. As luck has it, it was time to replace the suspension components on the FJ and I had already purchased the parts to go long travel in the rear, good thing they fit the T4R too! Front will be Total Chaos arms and RadFlo extended travel coilovers.

After seeing yours with the snorkel, I'll probably add one as well. I was running the River Raider snorkel on the FJC and loved it.

The more I tow, the better I feel about the heavier trailer.
From a few questions back:
Brake controller is mounted on right side of steering wheel kick panel.
Spare tire does not interfere with hitch or load leveling equipment.

BMC was done at local 4 Wheel Parts.

Spent yesterday evening sifting through your thread for ideas as my SW TEP is headed for some mods.. Love the gunmetal wheels on the white. First one I have seen with them. All the others seem to be matte-black.

At one point she looked at the snorkel pictures and inquired as to what it was. I told her and her response was 'that thing looks stupid'. Needless to say I almost broke up with her right then and there. op2:

It came in about 6 days including shipping. Pathfinder happened to have it in stock when I was speaking with them. Otherwise they try to order it when they have multiple orders, as it is costly to get it from them. Think it is expensive? It IS, however, I can tell you this: Pathfinder does NOT make much at all on this. Between the free shipping of the huge box, and the fact that it is VERY costly to bring in, they are doing us more of a favor by sourcing something that isn't really available to us. I know others say wait for Safari, but if you have the need to complete your build with this snorkel, we all know that some things aren't worth the wait. So far I have no complaints. Painting it the bumper trim Duplicolor really helps keep the same look as all the other trim. I have not however seen gas mileage increase, but I wasn't expecting that.

I lived in Fresno, CA and wish to see you one of these day on the street in Fresno or Clovis. You built your runner the way I vision my as well, only thing stopping me getting there is MONEY. arty:

Do you get any extra wind noise with it?

Very minimal. The roof rack and fairing give more, which is minimal in itself.

Finally got the TRD Pro Grill installed. Took all of 20 minutes, and that included cleaning of the upper grill trim!

Yes the trd pro grill is a cover that goes over the white cross bar.

Toyota Garnish- PZ323-35056 - Retail is $499 ish
Toyota Grille, Radiator Upper PZ327-35053 - Retail is $240 ish

Usually states on backorder, but fulfilled usually within 14 days

EASY to install, takes about 20 minutes...

I'm amazed that the Garnish is more expensive than the entire bumper!:wow2:
