I'm in the same boat too, been waiting for my stock dunlops to ware out and plan my lift (almost there). I like the 2/1 cornfed since it's slightly lower than the 2.5/1.5 daystar. While I think the daystar might ride better (since they're Polyurethane not metal) I've seen people say that the rear gets really stiff. Here's one report of that:
4Runner Shocks - YotaTech Forums
I'd think that the 2/1 cornfed lift might help with stiffness over bumps since the rear wouldn't be lifted as (1" vs 1.5-2" daystar). Also the front being 2" instead of closer to 2.5"/3" like the daystar would also keep the CV angles closer to stock and keep them from leaking (or having to be rebanded).
I wish I could ride in a 4Runner with both the daystar and then the cornfed spacers to see which I like better. My major hesitation to lifting would be that I don't have any experience with doing maintenance or repairs on my own in case I caused a problem and I only have one vehicle so I don't want it to be out of commission either (like the idiom, leave well enough, also has gotten me many times before).
