Hi,
I've just been accepted into a study abroad program here at Texas A&M to go to New Zealand this summer (leaving 5/16). I'm extremely pumped about it, not just because it's New Zealand, because of the things we are going to experience and be taught.
The purpose of the course is to develop a better understanding of what impact human society has on its surrounding environments, and how to make better decisions so that we can maintain the places we have (wildlife parks, natural fields, etc...). New Zealand is a great example of this because of it's limited impact of human life and because within 100 mile radius there are beaches, rainforests, glaciers, mountains, etc... This is all being taught to people of different majors (I'm pre-med). Specifically for me this would help me better understand how we effect the environment and how it reacts which can cause significant detriments to health. I'm excited.
Here is where the favor comes in.
The program costs $8000. I'm doing my best to get financial aid for this but it is all coming in as loans right now. I was advised to write a sponsorship letter detailing the course and such. I would like to ask all of you here if you would be interested in reading this one-page letter and helping me out or passing it along to others you feel may be interested.
I appreciate any help greatly.
